2. What we collect

  • Waitlist and reservations: your email address, the knife you are interested in, whether you joined the waitlist or reserved, the quantity, and when you gave consent.
  • Contact form: your name, email address and message.
  • Technical details: the page that referred you and campaign tags (such as utm_source), the page where you filled in the form, and your country as detected by our hosting provider. We do not store your IP address with your sign-up.

3. Why and on what legal basis

  • Sending news about our knives and telling you when they go on sale: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Measuring interest and the performance of our marketing at an aggregate level: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Answering your messages: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

A reservation is free and does not oblige you to buy. We do not collect payment details on this site.

4. How long we keep it

We keep waitlist and reservation details until you withdraw consent, or until the knife has gone on sale and we have notified you, and for no longer than 24 months. Messages are kept for up to 12 months after the matter is closed.

5. Who processes it

The data is stored with Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts this website and its database. Cloudflare may process data outside the EU; such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their marketing.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Send your request to [email protected]. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Finland this is the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

7. Cookies and analytics

Visitor statistics: We do not currently use visitor analytics.

Local storage: your browser stores your cookie choice and the campaign tags you arrived with, so they can be attached to a form you submit. Nothing is sent until you submit a form.
